Our train left a minute after midnight. Although it was not a sleeper car,
the train back to Wuppertal had reclining seats. They kept the cars dark overnight, to
allow everyone to sleep.
But, unable to sleep well, we were quite tired by the time we got back to Lennep
shortly after sunrise. With a quick snack and a long nap, we were able to make it
through to the evening.
It was a day for recouperation. While dad went on a spaziergang (wandering) with
the Heimlich family around the reservoir, Laura finished up her nap.
Another delicious dinner at the Heimlich's, some conversation, and off to bed.
